Of course, the surrounding, wildly romantic forest landscape provides the perfect backdrop. But our garden also plays its part. Our garden is particularly close to our hearts. Because it frames our house and makes it the oasis we want it to be for you. Not just a bland lawn. A sea of flowers and grasses with many cosy retreats on different levels.
In between, unobtrusively embedded, you will also find the element of water with a swimming pond, outdoor pool and goldfish pond. Listen to the relaxing ripple and savour every moment.
A picturesque hamlet
Our hotel and our mountain village of Sterr are located in Neunußberg, a picturesque, secluded hamlet in the middle of the Bavarian Forest. Just 150 inhabitants. No traffic lights, no traffic jams, no hustle and bustle. Instead: an idyllic little village in unspoilt nature. Dense forests, green hills. The castle ruins stand majestically above us, the romantic valley of the Schwarzer Regen river stretches out before us. A special location. The view of the gently rolling hills of the Bavarian Forest warms the soul.
