We don't really want to send you away from Neunußberg. But this magnificent natural landscape of the Bavarian Forest is simply too tempting. It invites you to discover it. And the best way to do this is on an extensive hike, starting directly from our hotel. Of course, our hikes are more challenging than mere strolls. Here, it's often uphill and downhill - typical of the low mountain range. But believe us: all the effort is worth it! A rising pulse and beads of sweat on your forehead are certainly also due to the heavenly views. Guaranteed.

Sporty and challenging tours up and over the surrounding mountains are also easily accessible from here. You can reach various starting points in about 20 minutes by car. Of course, we are always happy to help you plan your tours. Rental rucksacks and hiking maps are also part of the standard equipment in your hotel room.

Do you love the energy-sapping pedalling on your two wheels? Then you've come to the right place in the Bavarian Forest. An extensive network of mountain bike tours makes every biker's heart beat faster. An example directly from our house:

MOUNTAIN BIKE TOURS
We deliberately use the term "mountain bike tours" here. Because flat cycle paths are rather rare here in the Bavarian Forest. As mentioned at the beginning, our low mountain region with its valleys and mountains harbours one or two challenges.
But what could be nicer than treating yourself to a cold beer on our panoramic terrace after a strenuous mountain tour with a sense of satisfaction? Then a shower and off to the lounger.
On boards and runners
Winter not only makes it particularly cosy here in Neunußberg, it also provides a great range of activities.
All winter sports fans get their money's worth in our region. Cross-country skiers can access the first trail right here in Neunußberg, and well-known cross-country skiing areas such as the Auerhahn Höhenloipe (14 km away) and Bretterschachten (22 km away) are just a stone's throw away.

Sporty less ambitious?
There is also something for tobogganing fans. The Schareben natural toboggan run, for example, offers less sport but lots of fun. Take the ski bus from Oberried (15 km away) to Schareben, stop off at the rustic mountain hut and then whizz down into the valley on a 3.5 km long natural toboggan run through the wintry Bavarian Forest. Great fun for young and old.
