Our wellness area

Enjoy the peace and quiet.

When it comes to your relaxation, we think it should be a little more. That's why we have designed our wellness area so generously that every guest can always find a (free) favourite spot. The figures to the left of this text show just how versatile our wellness area is. But how much fun it is to dive into the three pools and the bathing pond, how beautiful the view from the panorama sauna is and what distinguishes the Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, sanarium and steam bath is best discovered in person - as a hotel guest or as a visitor with a day pass for the spa. Pleasant relaxation!

Our
Wellness garden

The scent of flowers and grasses, the gentle babbling of a stream, lush greenery wherever you look: When you step outside the hotel door, you are in the middle of nature - and in our enchanted wellness garden.

The heart of our hideaway

Our spa offers

Our pool area

Dive in and refuel

... that goes hand in hand in our pool area. Because water is a multi-talent - it relaxes, refreshes and puts you in a good mood. Enjoy the 30-degree water in our indoor pool, the year-round heated outdoor pool with a fantastic view of the valley or our wonderfully bubbling whirlpool. Cool off on hot days in the natural bathing lake or get your circulation going in the Kneipp pool. As soon as you dive in, the hectic pace of everyday life gives way to a feeling of soothing lightness.

Our relaxation rooms

Places to feel good

Relaxation requires peace and quiet, personal space and a pleasant atmosphere. You will find all of this in our three differently designed relaxation rooms. The largest of these has also just been given a chic new look - comfortable daybeds, atmospheric lighting and cosy wooden elements make it even cosier. There are also relaxing retreats in our garden area. As in the spa itself, there are always free loungers waiting for you to lean back and relax on - including a wonderful view.

Our sauna area

An experience for all the senses.

Wonderful warmth, icy refreshment, deep relaxation: saunas regenerate body and soul. But because not everyone can tolerate temperatures of 90 degrees, you can choose between five different options in our wellness area - from the classic Finnish sauna to the sanarium, which is only 65 degrees, to the steam bath, which is much gentler at 45 degrees and 100 % humidity. They are an experience for all the senses: the herbal sauna pampers your nose with wonderful aromas. In the sanarium, nature films whisk you away to magical landscapes. And in the panorama sauna, the view of the green hills of the Bavarian Forest ensures the best relaxation. And to cool off, head to our ice lounge, where you can watch stalagmites grow...

Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna is one of the most traditional forms of sweating. Temperatures between 85° and 90° with low humidity are typical. The infusions with sauna fragrances have a particularly beneficial effect.

Sanarium

If the classic sauna is too dry for you, you should try the sanarium. This is a type of sauna that is gentle on the circulation, with a room temperature of approx. 65°C and humidity of approx. 35%. Nature films in 4k resolution create a uniquely relaxing ambience.

Steam sauna

Also known as a mist bath or steam bath, the steam sauna is a gentle option with a room temperature of just 45° and 100% humidity.

Panorama sauna

Enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains of the Bavarian Forest at approx. 87°C.

Herbal sauna

Here you sweat at a room temperature of approx. 85°. A copper kettle, always filled with fine sauna herbs, ensures the finest fragrance experiences.

Ice lounge

An ice-cold rubdown after a sauna session is good for your blood circulation and gets your circulation going. In our new ice lounge, you can watch ice stalagmites grow and then cool off with them.

Give the gift of joy.
